On February 15, 2022, the Phillipsburg Town Council approved Resolution 2022-51.  This resolution refers to a traffic plan for truck routes within the Town of Phillipsburg.  This new truck route plan is being submitted because of a new warehouse that is being built on the Peron Howard Street Property and the potentially hundreds of trucks that will flow our of the warehouse every day.

The potential truck routes that could be used if a truck exited the Warehouse on McKeen Street today would be using South Main Street, either north or south on North Main Street.

In this resolution the Town of Phillipsburg is requesting that the truck bypass route using Center Street and Roseberrry Street be removed from the plan (certification report) prepared by the Town of Phillipsburg Engineer dated January 14, 2022.  However Council also states in this resolution "the council supports and authorizes the use of Center Street and portions of Roseberry Street to be included as part of the desinated truck route to provide required local route connectections between State Route 22 (Memorial Parkway) and State Route 122 (Main Street in Phillipsburg)."
